The gallery of modern art

was founded in 1953. The gallery owns one of the most significant collections of Czech modern art from the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The permanent exposition „Czech fine arts of 20th century“ offers almost 250 pieces. Apart from the permanent exposition, the gallery presents the works of contemporary artists on the ground floor, which are periodically changed. The gallery is closed from the 11th April 2014 and is going to open after its reconstruction is completed in the spring of 2016. [29]
