Klicpera’s Theatre

began its activity in 1885. It was one of the best theatres in the republic and was nominated 4 times as the Theatre of the year. It performs not only plays, but also musicals, dance performances and art exhibitions. The theatre holds two theatre festivals, Waiting for Wenceslaus and Theatre European Regions (around 220 performances). The performances are only in Czech, but some of its production can be interesting for foreign students for its artistic value. [72]
