Marian column

A 19 meters high baroque plague column was erected as thanks and memory, that the city was spared the plague epidemic in 1716. The plague column is sculpted from sandstone and decorated with gold, it was constructed in the years 1715-1717. There are sculptures of St. Mary and 8 other saints. [53]
