nicholas.jpg, 41kB

Nicholas is originally from the Slovak village Habura and was built in 1502-1510. The wooden church was later moved to Hradec Králové and is situated in the natural surroundings of Jiráskovy sady on the confluence of the Elbe and Orlice. The building is a three-part construction, each part has a turret on top. Some of the rarities of the church are a painted altar with depictions of Christian icons and the life of Jesus Christ, and a twelve-beamed wooden chandelier. The church is open only during church services. [58]
