Philharmonic orchestra of Hradec Králové

was founded in 1978. Its main purpose was to enrich the city’s cultural life. It offers over 110 performances in a season, which include different types of musical performances and concerts consisting of classical music and other genres like jazz, folk and rock. Among the pieces played are compositions from the world renowned groups like Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin. The Philharmonic orchestra also hosts opera and ballet performers. [27]
