Šimek’s Garden

The design of the park was made in 1925 by Josef Gočár and is build in the English style with artificial ponds. The park recently underwent a major reconstruction and became a much more beautiful place for walks and various activities. New bridges were made, asphalt roads for in-line skating, scooters an bikes, a new playground for kids, roads for walks and a walking route for the blind. The ponds were also adjusted and a place to eat was constructed. It is possible to borrow boats and to use the local grills in the summer season. [49]
