falls on November 2nd. Everyone calls the day „Dušičky“. It has been celebrated since the 10th century. It is a tradition that families visit the graves their family, light a candle and lay flowers or wreaths as a symbol of faith in the afterlife. Although, the majority of the population in the Czech Republic is atheist this tradition is still held. It is not used to celebrate Halloween In the Czech Republic, even though Halloween originally came from this holiday. [121, s. 63]
