Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary

This baroque building was constructed by the Jesuits in 1654-1666 . After the abolition of the Jesuit order in 1779 the church became military property. In 1857 a fire broke out and damaged the church, which was later repaired. The rarities of the church are the organ, a baroque instrument from 1765, altar of St. Ignatius and a ceiling fresco in the St. Anna chapel from 1765 depicting Hradec Kralove. [81, s. 7]
